Organic Gardening-----A Way of Life June 2011

Top of the morning to ya all Irish or not!!

Well, I finish planting the garden by Memorial day. Its now June 6,2011 and I am harvesting my spinach,lettuce,and radishes. The Compost pile is cooking,and the weeding is done. We had 9 days of rain here in New Hampshire but it was mainly showers. We are very lucky here in New Hampshire compared to the rest of the country with all there bad weather. It's time for this old gardener to take a brake ,and go Hiking .

It makes good business sense to be an organic gardener. Gardening the organic way allows us to get excellent production from our garden with a decrease in costs and the time requirements each and every year. For us, Organic Gardening is an investment in our future in terms of real dollars and cents. It is also a way to save mother earth,and be healthy in the process. So give organic Gardening a try small or large garden does not mater. Even Container gardening is a way to start.
